Romans 8

15 For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, "Abba ! Father !" 16 The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God, 17 and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him. (NAS)

Ephesians 1

5 His unchanging plan has always been to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. And this gave him great pleasure. (NLT)

John 14

Finally HOME!

After a Wednesday that lasted 38 hours (due to the 14 hour time change) we finally landed in Nashville. The airline crew would not let us off the plane until our carry-on luggage was brought out. (On these small aircraft with 2 seats on 1 side and only 1 seat on the other side, you have to check your carry-on as you are boarding.) Waiting seemed like FOREVER and I was starting to get claustrophobic on the tiny express jet airplane. Finally we got off the plane and Keyanna and I immediately started running through the airport like maniacs.
Not sure, but I think Keyanna might have pushed a few old ladies to the ground.

Here we come!!!

It has been a long 2 weeks away from Trynna and Zethan.

Missed you Daddy!

This was one of the greatest hugs ever. She squeezed me so tight and was not letting go.

Zethan and his Grandpa

Special thanks to all the family and friends who met us at the airport even though it was after 11 PM!!

Nathanael is so worn out from traveling and here are all these new people. We weren't sure how he would react to all the new faces, but he did great.

Where am I and who are you people?

Keyanna is so happy to have her 2 boys together at last!

Big brother brought balloons!

They look so different, but there is an immediate bond that just can't be explained. Brothers forever.

Now Mommy can finally hold Trynna.

Now the real Nathanael comes out. Outgoing and adventureous.

WOOHOO! It's a party!

Love between brothers is precious

Nathanael, meet Grandma

The Atwood men. We are going to have so much fun together.

It may be almost midnight on the longest day of our lives, but we are so happy and thankful for our family! We are blessed.

Peek-a-boo with brother. Zethan has been waiting for a really long time to do this. He's been talking about playing peek-a-boo with his brother for months

Zethan was not leaving his brother's side. It was just amazing.

Nathanael felt so comfortable with Zethan. God's love was on display.

Known each other for barely 10 minutes and already brothers forever. Love like this is truly special. This kind of love is the Gospel. This kind of love can change the world. "We love because He first loved us." 1 John 4:19
